Some coaching institutes claim very large number of students getting through. What are your views on that?

Selection of a student to a very large extent depends on the student. Coaching industry in general is more about attracting the best rather than about providing the best education. Enormous amount is spent in advertising & marketing to collect mass. Packing 100 students or more in a class and/or having several batches is not uncommon. With so many students in a class it is unlikely that few won't get through. In all these things the key point which is the aptitude & attitude of the student is somehow forgotten. If you think you have, "that" in you all you need is the place from where you get good education delivered professionally.
